The BASE adapter 40 is the head fitted to a height-adjustable pedestal from the BASE series. It transfers the load of the structure from the pedestal into the profile and fixes its position, so the substructure does not shift while the surface is being laid.

The adapter is chosen by the material of the substructure, not by its width. This model is a component of the aluminium Click system and fits the Eveco system profiles. The profile clips in, with no screws into the pedestal head.

It is not a head for a timber joist. With a timber substructure the BASE L-adapter leads, and the manufacturer supplies it with the BASE pedestal as standard - there is nothing to buy separately.

The pedestal is chosen separately: the BASE series covers build-up heights from 25 to 210 mm in four sizes, with a load capacity of up to 2.2 kN per pedestal.
